Precision Ball Screw: A ball screw is a precision mechanical element, and collisions should be avoided during transportation or other situations. Once removed from the shipping box, the lead screw should rest horizontally on a wooden or plastic stand. When installing the ball screw, remove the protective cover from the screw packaging.

If the lead screw is to be stored for a long time, it should be hung vertically to prevent the lead screw from bending under its own weight.

Installation: The ball screw is only used to bear the axial load. Radial forces and bending moments can cause undesirable loads such as additional surface contact stress to the ball screw, which can lead to permanent screw damage. The axis of the screw must be parallel to the axis of the guide. When installing the nut, try to be as close to the support bearing as possible; similarly, when installing the support bearing, try to be as close as possible to the installation position of the nut.

Operating environment: Under the condition that the rated load is not exceeded and sufficient lubrication is maintained, the operating temperature range of the lead screw is -20℃-110℃. When the working environment temperature exceeds 110℃, the screw ball circulation system must increase the safety device. Under high temperature conditions, the hardness of the ball screw is reduced, and the bearing capacity and life of the entire screw are reduced.

Nut loading and unloading: the installation and unloading of the nut should use a sleeve, otherwise the ball may slip off during loading and unloading. Nuts should also pay attention to the following points:

The outer diameter of the sleeve should be 0.1-0.2 mm smaller than the bottom diameter of the screw.

The sleeve must abut against the threaded shoulder during use.

When loading and unloading, do not apply excessive external force to avoid damage to the nut.

When installing the mounting holes, avoid collision and eccentricity.

Use: After installing the ball screw, the nut must be greased. Regularly adding grease using a centralized lubrication system ensures that the ball screw is well lubricated.
