Product Details

The Support Unit is available in six types: models EK, FK, EF, and FF, designed specifically for BNK precision Ball Screws with finished shaft ends, and models BK and BF, which are standardized for general Ball Screws. The Support Unit on the fixed side is equipped with a JIS Class 5-compliant angular bearing with adjusted preload. On the supported side, a deep-groove ball bearing is utilized. The internal bearings of Support Unit models EK, FK, and BK are filled with an appropriate amount of lithium soap-group grease and sealed with a special seal, ensuring prolonged operation. Compact and Easy Installation
The Support Unit is compactly designed to fit the space at the installation site. Equipped with an appropriately adjusted preload, the Support Unit can be assembled with a Ball Screw unit without additional machining. Consequently, the required assembly time can be reduced, and assembly accuracy improved.

Support Unit Shapes
Both square and round shapes are available for the Support Unit, providing flexibility in selection based on intended usage.

Optimal Bearing Utilization
To ensure rigidity balance with the Ball Screw, the Support Unit utilizes an angular bearing (contact angle: 30°; DF configuration) with high rigidity and low torque. Miniature Support Unit models EK/FK 4, 5, and 6 incorporate a miniature angular bearing with a contact angle of 45°, specifically developed for miniature Ball Screws. This bearing features a greater contact angle of 45° and an increased number of balls with smaller diameters, enhancing rigidity and accuracy for stable rotational performance.
