Product Description

Because the ball screw uses ball motion, the starting torque is extremely small, and there will be no crawling phenomenon like sliding motion, which can ensure the realization of accurate micro feed. Ball screw has the traits of high lead precision and exact sensitivity. When synchronous transmission is required, various units of ball screw pairs with the same lead can be used to acquire exact synchronization performance. The hardness of the ball and raceway can reach HRC58~63. The shape of the raceway is accurate, the rolling friction and wear are very small, and it has good accuracy retention, reliability and service life.

All screws serve the same motive of converting rotary motion into linear motion, they have distinct differences in their design, performance, and suitability for different types of applications.

Ball screws employ recirculating ball bearings to reduce friction and increase efficiency, whereas lead screws make use of helical threads and a nut to produce linear movement.

Lead screws are metal bars with threads as that of a traditional screw, and the relative motion between the screw and nut reasons the linear movement of the latter.
