8mm cylinder liner rail linear shaft optical axis chrome for drive shaft 3D printer parts accessories. The feature of chrome linear shaft is not for the use of linear bearing slide, generally play a supportive role, to facilitate the customer's own processing. The chrome linear shaft have been widely used in automatic rotating devices, such as industrial robots, automatic recorders, computers, precision printers, special gas tanks, automatic woodworking machinery and other industrial machinery.
With 2" of each end softened, it’s easier to machine a custom end for mounting. The rest of the shaft is case-hardened, which increases hardness and wear resistance on the surface of the shaft while allowing the center to remain soft for absorbing stresses caused by shifting loads.
The characteristic of the linear optical axis is wear-resisting, corrosion resistant and long life. The hollow linear shaft can be used in electronic machinery robot, measuring instruments, medical equipment, XY table, factory automation equipment.
The edges are chamfered to remove sharp corners, reducing damage to bearings, housings, and other components during installation. All are turned, ground, and polished to tight diameter and straightness tolerances.
