Ball Screw Processing Method
Ball screw is an ideal product for converting rotary motion into linear motion or converting linear motion into rotary body. It consists of a screw, a nut, and a ball. Its function is to convert the rotary motion into linear motion, so that the spherical screw can be further expanded and developed. The importance of this development is to convert the bearing from rolling motion to sliding motion. How to process a ball screw? The following is my personal experience to explain to you the processing process of cold rolled ball wire:
(1) Blanking (usually the whole lead screw is 3 meters or 6 meters, cut according to the actual needs of customers)
(2) Straightening (professional straightening machine straightens the lead screw to achieve the straightness of the lead screw and avoid the backlash of the lead screw)
(3) Spheroidizing heat treatment (using a high-frequency quenching machine to perform the quenching heat treatment operation of the end face of the screw shaft)
(4), rough turning outer circle (generally purchasing lathe to process the outer circle of the screw shaft end)
(5) Fine turning (fine turning thread, keyway, spring groove, etc.)
(6) Alignment (alignment before installation)
(7) Quality control operations (check the drawing and processing dimensions)
(8), nut assembly (use the sleeve method to install the nut)
(9) Debugging preload (professional assemblers conduct preload testing)
(10), inject lubricating oil/grease into the nut and lead screw.
(11) Packing and shipping (the lead screw nut is packed in plastic PE bag first, then packed in carton, and filled with pearl cotton in the middle)
