Rod end bearing consist of an eye-shaped head with integral shank forming a housing and a standard spherical plain bearing, or a spherical simple bearing inner ring, or a spherical plain bearing inner ring and a sliding layer between the bore of the head and the internal ring. As a rule, rod ends are on hand with left or right-hand female or male threads. Rod ends have the sliding contact surface combinations steel-on-steel, steel-on-bronze, steel-on-PTFE composite material, steel-on-PTFE fabric and steel-on-PTFE plastic.

Product Description

Rod ends with a left-hand thread are identified by an L in the designation prefix, otherwise the rod ends have a right-hand thread. For example, rod end PHSAL10 M10X1.5L has a left-hand thread whereas rod end PHSA10 M10X1.5 has a proper hand thread.
